Day 01 Del - Helsinki - Oslo
Reach IGI International airport at 5:30am to board Finn air flight to Helsinki & connecting to Oslo as under. Delhi-Helsinki by AY-022 at 8:35am-1:30 pm (7 hrs, 30 min) Helsinki-Oslo by AY-659 at 3:45pm-4:10pm (1 hrs, 25 min). After immigrations clearances, drive and transfer to your Hotel in Oslo. Evening time to relax after a long flight, Dinner & Overnight stay in Oslo. Indian dinner at restaurant.
Day 02 Oslo Sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel, morning sightseeing in Oslo at 9:30am covering The Vigeland Sculpture park, Holmenkollen, and The Viking ship Museum. Later you have Lunch at Indian restaurant. Afternoon at leisure for shopping and explore the city on own. Dinner and Overnight stay in Oslo. Lunch at Indian restaurant Dinner at Indian restaurant.
Day 03 Gudvangen to Flam Cruises, Bergen & flight to Copenhagen
After breakfast at hotel, we leave hotel early morning at 5am for Gudvengen that is over 300 kms, 5 hrs drive from Oslo. You have enough time to relax while the driver cruises on the highway and on hills. Arrive in a small village GUDVANGEN where we shall board the cruise for Fjords tour at 11:30am and arrival FLAM at 1:40pm. Lunch shall be served on board the cruises while you enjoy the view. We leave Flam by 2:15pm for Bergen that is 2 hrs, 45 minutes. Time to explore Bergen. Later proceed to Bergen airport for flight to Copenhagen as per details under. Bergen-Copenhagen flight at 8:10pm-9:20pm (1 hr). Upon arrival at Copenhagen, transfer to Hotel. Stay in Copenhagen. Lunch on board the Fjords Ship Light dinner to be served before departure at airport.
Day 04 Copenhagen
After breakfast at hotel, full day Copenhagen tour covering all the major sights of the Danish Capital city. We stop at Tivoli Gardens and visit the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek Museum of Ancient & modern Art on an International stature. We continue our tour through the canal district, National Museum, by Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament & old Stock Exchange and across Kongens Nytorv, visit the Royal Theatre, world famous for its Royal Ballet. We have lunch at local Indian restaurant. Afternoon we continue tour to the colorful harbor district, Amalienborg Palace - winter residence of the Royal Family. Here we have the opportunity to see the change of the Guard. This is followed by a visit to the Gefion Fountain and The Little Mermaid, inspired by H. C. Andersen's fairytale. Later we shall visit the Thorvaldsens museum that exhibits Models & Measurements focuses on art, sport and physical culture from Antiquity to the 1930s through a large and much facetted material. Overnight stay at Copenhagen. Lunch and Dinner at local Indian restaurant.
Day 05 Copenhagen - Stockholm (Swedish Capital), Swedish Parliament Imperial Palace
After breakfast in hotel, we checkout early at 7am, drive to the Copenhagen airport for Norwegian airlines flight to Stockholm. Copenhagen-Stockholm at 8:35am-9:50am (1 hr, 15 min). Upon arrival we straight away have lunch at Indian restaurant. Later we visit the House of Parliament, an opportunity to see chambers of the ministers and the hall, if in session. We continue our tour by visiting the famous Imperial Palace. Evening at leisure, dinner and stay in Stockholm. Lunch and Dinner at local Indian restaurant.
Day 06 Stockholm: Noble Hall & Vasa Museum, Cruise to Tallinn
Breakfast at the hotel, checkout by 9:30am. The day starts with a visit to the famous city hall where the Noble Prizes are distributed every year. We continue to visit the famous Vasa Museum where you would be interested to see the war-ship that sank on its maiden voyage. The Vasa is the world's only surviving 17th-century ship and one of the foremost tourist sights in the world. The ship is displayed in a purpose-built museum in Stockholm. After lunch at Indian restaurant, proceed to cruise pier at 3pm. Overnight Cruise Stockholm-Tallinn at 5:45pm-10am next morning. (16 hrs). Evening entertainment on ship with Las Vegas shows. Buffet dinner shall be available on board the ship and enjoy whole night on ship. A chance to try your luck at Casino tables, open till early hrs of next morning. Overnight stay on Ship. Day 07 UNESCO World heritage city Tallinn Variety of Cabaret Shows with whole night entertainment
Breakfast on the ship. Arrival in Tallinn by 10am, transfer to hotel. At 11am, we shall have Tallinn sightseeing tour with 1 hr in coach covering the important landmarks along with a site visit to the Harbor & the second part of the tour is by walking from the Russian church to the Town hall in the old town. During the trip, you see the Kadriorg Park and the Song Festival Grounds to the Pirita district, all the while providing running commentary on Estonian history and contemporary life. The walking portion of the tour covers Old Town, proceeding across Toompea Hill, stopping at the Parliament Building, Aleksander Nevsky Cathedral, the Dome Church and the scenic viewpoint. It then leads to the narrow, winding streets of the Lower Town, finally ending up on Town Hall Square. We have lunch at a local Indian restaurant at 1:30pm. Afternoon at leisure. Evening to relax and enjoy exploring the old town on foot. Return to hotel on foot. Later we have the whole night to visit the famous night club where we shall have different types of Cabaret shows (Entry included in tour price, Strictly for adults only). Overnight stay in Tallinn. Day 08 Tallinn Sea side and team activities Visit the Hare Krishna Temple with Bhajan Concert
Breakfast at hotel. Our day starts with a seaside visit near Tallinn that is just 1 hrs drive, you have chance to spend time at the beach with team building activities. Packed picnic lunch shall be served. Return to Tallinn by afternoon and visit the famous Hare Krishna Temple. Dinner Prasad shall be served at Indian Hare Krishna temple. You may spend some time and listen to nice Kirtana Bhajans by famous local Estonian artist who was nominated as the best artist at the Music awards in 2009. Overnight stay in Tallinn. Day 09 Tallinn - Helsinki by CRUISE (Casino in evening)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure in Tallinn for last minute shopping. Checkout from hotel at 11am. Cruises Tallinn-Helsinki at 1pm-3pm. (2 Hrs). Packed or warm lunch shall be served, disembark and transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure to explore the fascinating city with its diversified cultures & free-life style. We suggest visiting the famous Grand Casino which is walking distance from our hotel. Please don't forget carrying your passports for entry into Grand Casino. Dinner at Indian restaurant. Day 10 Helsinki Sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel. The tour starts in Helsinki starts at 9:30am passing through the Esplanade area, the coach will then take us for a 3 hr Helsinki sightseeing tour that includes the Senate Square with Helsinki Cathedral and the University, Sibelius Monument, Olympic Stadium, Finlandia Hall, the Parliament House, Temppeliaukio Church (entry unless service taking place), the Market Square along with a countryside visit (A country of thousand lakes). Lunch at Indian restaurant and in afternoon time at leisure to explore the wonderful city on own. Dinner & stay in Helsinki. Lunch and dinner at Indian restaurant.
Day 11 Turku, the NOKIA center, Cathedral Visit
Breakfast at hotel. Checkout from hotel by 11am. Before driving to Turku, we shall have lunch in Helsinki and later drive directly to the beautiful Historical city Turku that takes 2hrs. It is also famous for the R&D Center of NOKIA. Upon arrival in Turku we shall visit Turku Cathedral, located on Unikankare Hill, is a national shrine. The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Finland's first bishop, St. Henrik and was inaugurated in 1300. The monuments and hundreds of details tell about the history of the Finnish people. The history of Turku Castle stretches back to the 1280s. The permanent exhibitions in the bailey illustrate the history and culture of Finland, and Turku in particular. The castle also offers theme exhibitions, concerts and events for children and adults alike. Do you know how to recognize a European city dating from the Middle Ages? A riverfront, market square, castle and cathedral, just to name a few. Sounds familiar - in fact, it sounds just like Turku. Turku is not only the one city in Finland that meets the above description, it is also a destination filled with events and things to do, not to mention the European Capital of Culture for 2011. 2-course dinner at local restaurant & train to Rovaniemi as under. Train Turku-Rovaniemi at 9:10pm-10:40am next day (13 Hrs, 40 min). Overnight journey in train. Lunch and dinner at Indian restaurant (Helsinki and Turku).
Day 12 Rovaniemi (Arctic Circle) - MIDNIGHT SUN TOUR
Arrival Rovaniemi at 10:40am, upon arrival we shall be transferred to our hotel in Rovaniemi (Arctic Circle). Lunch at hotel or a local restaurant. Afternoon free to explore the small village at the Arctic. After dinner we prepare to take cannoning boats to see the spectacle of the SUN at midnight. We shall start from city center and take a one hour cruise in the 550 kms long river. The sun never sets at night during summer on the Arctic Circle and north of it. The 24-hour light is at its peak for almost two and a half months. You can see the midnight sun in Rovaniemi from 6 June to 7 July. Return to hotel after 12am. Overnight stay in Rovaniemi. Day 13 River Boat Cruises, Lappish Village, St. Claus Village & Arctic Circle
Buffet breakfast at hotel; Let us welcome you to enjoy the most important elements of the magical feeling of Lapland! Our trip will start with a refreshing cruise on a traditional riverboat, following along the Rivers Kemijoki and Ounasjoki. You are welcome to visit the home of Lappish family and their Workshop. We will also visit a local Reindeer cottage, where you will learn about Lappish culture and reindeer rearing. Lappish style vegetarian lunch will be served. In the afternoon awaits a visit by coach to the Santa Claus Village, where we shall also cross the famous Arctic Circle. Here, we will have an opportunity to meet Mr. Santa Claus himself, and you have a chance to do some shopping. The trip ends back at the hotel. Dinner and stay in Rovaniemi. Day 14 Arktikum Museum Visit
Breakfast at hotel, morning we visit the famous Arktikum museum that provides a unique insight into the way of life, culture and history of the North. It is a museum, science centre, popular cultural venue with impressive meeting and congress facilities and an architectural sight in its own right. In the exhibition visitors have the opportunity to wander through the four main sections: - one introducing the Arctic in highly visual and interactive way, the second providing detailed information about how humans, fauna and flora have adapted and survived in the harsh environment, the third mostly concentrating on the current changes in the Arctic and demonstrating the global aspect of the changes and the fourth questioning visitors about the future of the Arctic from a very positive and optimistic perspective. Lunch at local restaurant. Later we drive to Rovaniemi airport for flights to Helsinki and New Delhi.
